By creating an account or using GainRace you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
GainRace is a personal-performance tracker. It computes a daily Form Score from logs you create. AI features (Pit Crew training and meal plans, the Pit Crew chat, and the daily digest) use your own data with the help of a third-party large language model. The app provides information for personal interest; it is not medical advice.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or guardian's permission.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secret. You may not share your account, sell it, or create an account in someone else's name. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer or interfere with the service; (b) use the service to harass other users (including via the friend / sus-vote feature); (c) upload content that is illegal, infringing, or contains malware; (d) attempt to extract data about other users beyond what the friend system exposes; (e) abuse the AI features to incur disproportionate compute cost (we rate-limit and may suspend abusive accounts).
The Form Score, AI digest, Pit Crew plans and chat replies, and any other output are informational only and are general fitness guidance. They are not a substitute for advice from a doctor, registered dietitian, or qualified strength coach. Do not act on app output if it conflicts with medical guidance you have received. Check with a doctor before starting a new training or eating plan, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have had an eating disorder. Stop any exercise that causes pain.
You retain ownership of your logs, photos, and notes. You grant us a limited license to store, transmit to the third parties listed in our Privacy Policy, and display them back to you (and to friends you have accepted) as needed to provide the service. We do not sell your content.
Plans. GainRace has a free plan and two optional paid subscriptions, Plus and Pro. Each plan has limits on AI camera scans (food and body-fat estimates) and on the number of friends you can add; the current limits and prices are shown in the app before you buy. Pro's "unlimited" food scans are subject to a fair-use cap (currently 12 per day) so the service stays fast and affordable for everyone. We may change plan limits for future billing periods and will tell you in the app before a change affects you.
Billing and renewal. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple ID. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can cancel or change plans at any time in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions); cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep your plan until the end of the period already paid for.
Free trials. Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then. Each Apple ID can use an introductory offer once. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
Avatar packs. Emote packs and other avatar packs are one-time purchases. They unlock the listed items for your account permanently, including after a subscription ends, and can be restored on a new device with "Restore purchases". Pro subscribers may be offered packs at a lower price.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase is refunded, what it unlocked is removed. We do not charge you directly and never see your payment details.
Downgrades. If your plan ends or you move to a lower plan, your data and existing friends are kept; the lower plan's limits apply to new scans and new friends.
You can delete your account at any time inside the app. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms; deleted accounts are removed under the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decisions you make based on the app's output.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be surfaced in-app at next sign-in.
